Quick Pick: Plymovent Aeroguard Air Monitor

Jan. 27, 2025
Get a heads up on potentially dangerous conditions before they have a chance to cause respiratory issues for your employees.

Deciding what tools, shop equipment, and parts are right for your commercial vehicle operation takes a lot of time and energy. To make the process a little easier, Fleet Maintenance is launching our Quick Pick video series. Like the product entries found on our vast directory, these profiles will give you the vital info you need, just now in video form and (typically) in under 60 seconds. This week, we're looking at the AeroGuard Air Monitor from Plymovent.

With contaminants and dust from idling engines, welders, grinders, and more floating around constantly, a commercial vehicle shop isn't exactly where you'd go to find top-tier air quality.

The Plymovent AeroGuard Air Monitor offers a unique solution as a piece of equipment that features a wide range of air sensors monitoring 11 pollutants and climate factors, giving you a heads up on potentially dangerous conditions before they have a chance to cause respiratory issues for your employees.

It measures particulate matter (PM1, PM2,5, PM4, PM10), Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Temperature, Humidity, Sound, Atmospheric pressure, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).

The AeroGuard's LED ring allows you to focus on specific contaminants, and the device comes with seven calibration settings, including custom calibration of the dust sensor.

It can be placed on any surface or mounted to a wall, and connects directly to a free mobile app for iOS and Android devices, allowing you to access data and insights in real-time, while a comprehensive web portal provides for additional data viewing. Aeroguard is an important step in helping shop employees and visitors breathe easier when it comes to air quality.
