MacKay & Company recently released the results of its annual study of the medium and heavy duty tire distribution market in the U.S. The Tire Distribution Report is the second report in the annual series that focuses on the tire aftermarket. In the most recent report- 160 tire distributors provided sales mix data, brands sold, pricing, inventory, sourcing practices, and distribution insights for the 2018 tire aftermarket.

MacKay & Company also surveys 700-900 fleets each year on replacement miles by wheel position, grouped by vocation along with distribution channel and point of service locations. The last survey with fleets identified 'For-Hire' fleets with 100 or more trucks accounting for 25% of the overall tire aftermarket.
