Donaldson Company, a manufacturer of filtration products and solutions, recently announced three new product advancements in air, fuel, and hydraulic filtration. The new products include Alpha-Web hydraulic media, Synteq DRY fuel coalescing technology, and the PowerCore Edge air cleaner.

Donaldson’s Alpha-Web hydraulic filtration media features a fine-fiber layer to trap and lock particles during frequent flow-rate changes and deliver transformational improvement in hydraulic fluid cleanliness and equipment protection.
“We know that more than 75% of hydraulic failures can be traced back to contaminated fluid,” Kreslins reported. “Alpha-Web filtration technology delivers a transformational improvement in hydraulic equipment protection by keeping hydraulic fluid significantly cleaner.”
Alpha-Web improves hydraulic fluid cleanliness levels by two ISO codes over synthetic media, resulting in up to four times cleaner hydraulic fluid and extending component life up to 60%, the company stated.
Along with Alpha-Web, Donaldson also introduced Synteq DRY and PowerCore Edge. The former is a multi-stage, coalescing technology that offers water separation and removal for modern fuel systems and diesel blends. The latter is an air cleaner designed to fit in tight spaces, withstand higher temperatures, and offer easy servicing with full filtration capability.
