Fluid RX Diagnostics introduces the Instant Lubricant Diagnostics 10-Spot Customer Presentation Chart

Sept. 1, 2015
For the first time, all 10 diagnostics charts have been combined making it simple and convenient to test and evaluate virtually every year, make and model of vehicle that rolls into the service bays, according to the company.

Fluid RX Diagnostics has designed the Instant Lubricant Diagnostics 10-Spot Customer Presentation chart by Fluid Rx Diagnostics makes it even easier to show customers “Proof Positive its Time to Change”.  For the first time, all 10 diagnostics charts have been combined making it simple and convenient to test and evaluate virtually every year, make and model of vehicle that rolls into the service bays, according to the company.

This chart features an overview on the benefits of proper fluid preventative maintenance and test result for brake, power steering and transmission fluids as well as Crankcase and Gear oils – all in one visually appealing, easy to understand display.  This laminated analysis chart is designed for both countertop and in-vehicle presentations and shows results for all standard and most proprietary fluids including the newest formulas from GM, Ford, Chrysler, Nissan, Toyota, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi and Volkswagen.

“Showing the true condition of a vehicle’s vital fluids and making service recommendations based on scientific fact, not opinion, has never been easier or more effective,” said Magna Guard’s President Ron McElroy. The ideal companions to the new vital fluids presentation chart are the specialty clipboards and fluid sampling tools. Together they make sampling and presenting the customer’s in-service fluids quick and easy by allowing service technicians to secure the Fluid Rx Diagnostics unique Test Sheet in place as fluid samples are taken and analysis is performed. “Once testing is completed the Test Sheet is matched up to the 10-spot diagnostic chart for easy comparison - showing both the service provider and the consumer the exact condition of each tested fluid,” McElroy added.  Many service facilities have reported that offering scientific proof rather than human opinion has tripled their fluid services in as little as 90-days.

All modern lubricants contain additives that inhibit breakdown.  As these additives become depleted, the fluid degrades and is no longer able to perform its intended function. Fluid Rx Diagnostics is a radial planar chromatographic tool that provides a measure of additive depletion and the level of sludge or debris in fluid or oil. The ISO (International Standards Organization) Diagnostics Charts shows how specific fluids appear at various points of depletion on the unique Test Sheet.

The CalABC (California Automotive Business Coalition), which represents the automotive aftermarket to Government, recently reported and published:  “Instant Lubricant Diagnostics – the best strategy to identify and recommend vehicle fluid change intervals.” Fluid Rx Diagnostics provides both the technician and customer with the information needed to make informed decisions regarding fluid service.  Providing Instant Lubricant Diagnostics test results ups ticket averages and bolsters customer loyalty and retention by showing when fluid services are needed.
