Red Kap designs work wear collection to help eliminate vehicle scratches from apparel

March 23, 2017
Red Kap, an automotive apparel manufacturer, developed the ZeroSkratch collection, a line of workwear featuring covered zippers, snaps and buttons.

It’s an issue every mechanic and paint specialist knows well – a vehicle’s finish can easily get scratched or chipped by zippers and buttons. Repairing preventable mistakes like these takes time and costs money. It’s about time someone put a cap on the problem.

That’s why Red Kap, an automotive apparel manufacturer, developed the ZeroSkratch collection, a line of workwear featuring covered zippers, snaps and buttons, which debuted at SEMA 2016.

The entire ZeroSkratch collection is available in dozens of color and style combinations to match any auto shop’s needs, according to the company. The line includes Red Kap Crew Shirts, Diamond Plate Auto Shirts, Striped Color Block Work Shirts, Tri-Color Auto Shirts, Performance Shop Pants and Shorts, Lightweight Crew Pants and Shorts, Shop Coats, the Shop Apron and a ZeroScratch Leather Belt.

The ZeroSkratch design advantage is also available in Red Kap’s new Lightweight Crew Pants and Shorts.
