Virginia to deploy its flagship fleet management software solution, FleetFocus and deployment of the AssetWorks GPS offering powered by Networkfleet

AssetWorks, a provider of fleet management software, automated fuel management systems, and integrated GPS systems announced today that it has completed a contract with York County, Virginia to deploy its flagship fleet management software solution, FleetFocus and deployment of the AssetWorks GPS offering powered by Networkfleet.

The county manages and maintains 600 of the county’s fleet of 900 vehicles. The county can use FleetFocus to capture labor in real time, schedule shop activities and employees, access fleet data for long term planning and run detailed reports. Additionally, the county can share certain FleetFocus data with their customers through a front-end portal that can be accessed by non-fleet personnel.

York County also installed Networkfleet telematics solution on many county vehicles. Networkfleet gives fleet managers secure, easy-to-use web access to near real-time information on virtually any aspect of their fleet operations such as GPS fleet maps, dashboards, reports, and alerts. FleetFocus and Networkfleet can share information between their systems so that York County can use the telematics data for planning and reporting purposes. For example, diagnostic trouble codes that are reported from a vehicle in real-time through Networkfleet can automatically generate service requests in FleetFocus.
