Fullbay launches children’s book to highlight trade career paths

March 28, 2023
After the success of the platform's first book, which the company stated was sold and downloaded hundreds of times, Fullbay has brought a sequel to Dan the technician's adventures.

Fullbay, a shop-management software provider for heavy-duty repair facilities, has released a new children’s book, "Truck Tales: Dan Saves the Festival."

This sequel story, which follows Dan the technician on a new diesel repair adventure, was written to help teach children about the heavy-duty trucking industry, explain what technicians do, and promote interest in the trades as a potential career path.

“Jobs within the trades don’t get the recognition they deserve,” said Jacob Findlay, co-founder and executive chairman of Fullbay. “We developed the ‘Truck Tales’ book series as a way to introduce both children and parents to this potential career path.”

Fullbay released its first children’s book, "Truck Tales: Dan the Technician" in 2021. The company also released a coloring book featuring heavy-duty related vehicles and scenes. While digital copies of the new book are available for free on Fullbay’s website, all profits from Amazon sales of printed copies are donated to industry causes and charities as part of the Fullbay Cares initiative.

Fullbay Cares is dedicated to assisting the heavy duty repair community by connecting partners and providing assistance to shops and technicians. Fullbay Cares has provided nearly $80,000 in funding to numerous deserving groups over the last two years.

Hard copies of both books are available for purchase here.
