Haldex North America announced that Matt Resch has been appointed Vice President, OEM and Fleet Sales. In this newly created role, Resch will take on full responsibility for the OEM truck, trailer, and national fleet sales. This capacity will combine his current duties for OEM Truck Sales, with those previously held by Dan Debord, who has recently departed the company.

“I am pleased that we have an internal candidate so capable of filling this important role for Haldex. Matt’s background in sales, product management, and business development will enable him to translate customer needs into firm new business opportunities quickly,” said Walter Frankiewicz, president of Haldex Americas.

With 18 years at Haldex, Resch has a long, successful history, learning the business from the ground up, in both times of expansion and reduction in the industry. Resch has an innate capability to grasp a concrete understanding of customers’ needs, translating to the internal Haldex teams, and walking away with a solution. This talent serves to not only build stronger relationships but also provides a sharpened focus on the launches of future products – promising to be much more technical than they have been in the past.

In this critical role, coordination of the fleet needs along with the OEM business models is crucial to enable Haldex to continue to pair fleets and OEMs with effective technology in braking systems. “Our business model is shifting rapidly towards elements which will be present in future vehicle platforms, including today’s products and tomorrow’s autonomous vehicle operation. We feel Matt is well suited to help us spearhead the charge with both OEM and fleet customers,” said Frankiewicz.
