Daimler and PACCAR award Consolidated Metal Products for u-bolt quality

Consolidated Metal Products (CMP), a manufacturer of high-strength, cold-formed u-bolts, was recently honored by two major truck OEMs.

Consolidated Metal Products (CMP), a manufacturer of high-strength, cold-formed u-bolts, was recently honored by two major truck OEMs: Daimler Trucks North America and PACCAR.

Daimler Trucks

Daimler Trucks North America Selected CMP as one of its suppliers to achieve the Masters of Quality Award for 2016, the highest recognition Daimler Trucks North America LLC gives to its suppliers.

Daimler Trucks North America recognizes manufacturers from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico who meet or exceed the company’s stringent quality, delivery, cost, and technology requirements and expectations, and who demonstrate an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of their products.

This is the 14th time CMP has been recognized by Daimler.

CMP Pratsa, S.A. de C.V., CMP’s joint venture in Mexico, also was also honored with the Masters of Quality Award for 2016 by Daimler.

PACCAR

CMP also met PACCAR’s expectations that supplier parts and components achieve 10 PPM or better quality.

“We appreciate the quality products and services you provide PACCAR," PACCAR said in the notification of the 2016 quality achievement recognition. "We look forward to our ongoing relationship as we continue to deliver the highest quality products to our customers.”

This is the secpnd time CMP has been recognized by PACCAR for delivering quality products to the truck maker, but previously had been recognized for 50 PPM.
