The PACCAR Customer Center supported Gary Amoth Trucking and its Kenworth T680 truck, which delivered the 52nd U.S. Capitol Christmas tree to the U.S. Capitol on Monday, Nov. 28. Utilizing Kenworth TruckTech+ Remote Diagnostics and the PACCAR Solutions engine maintenance management program, the PACCAR Customer Center monitored the health of the truck along its 4,000 mile journey.

A dedicated team monitored the truck every minute it was on the road. The PACCAR Customer Center is staffed 24/7 and has access to over 380 Kenworth dealer locations across the United States and Canada in support of our Kenworth customers.

“Leveraging the telematic capabilities that are available through the PACCAR MX-13 Engine enables us to continuously monitor our fleets in real time to preemptively service their vehicles,” said Laura Bloch, assistant general manager – operations at PACCAR Parts. “This technology helps maximize uptime and makes sure the driver, and the Capitol tree, arrive at their destination safely and on-time.”

In addition, the PACCAR Customer Center provides roadside assistance services including 24/7 emergency support, on-site roadside assistance and tow service to PACCAR dealers, and scheduling service at PACCAR dealers.

Gary Amoth Trucking was selected to transport the annual festive tree from the Payette National Forest in McCall, Idaho to the lawn of the U.S. Capitol. This is the second year the PACCAR Customer Center has provided telematic customer support for a fleet customer delivering the U.S. Capitol Christmas tree.
