PHH Arval announced a strategic alliance with FleetCor, a leading global provider of fuel cards and specialized payment products.  As part of the strategic alliance, PHH Arval will now offer a new corporate universal PHH MasterCard, powered by Comdata.

"The PHH MasterCard is unlike any other fleet program in the Canadian market today," said Jim Halliday, President PHH Canada.  "As a leader in fleet management solutions, PHH is always looking for opportunities such as this to provide our clients the best solutions to manage costs and reduce purchase fraud."

The new fleet program will be available for PHH Arval clients in Canada and deliver a comprehensive North American fuel program for PHH Arval heavy truck fleets, as well as enhanced coverage in Puerto Rico.

With the new card, managers can specifically design a program for their company, which includes many fraud prevention and cost reduction features. For example:

  • Purchase level controls including transaction limits, blocked hours, locations, or days
  • Robust security capabilities to stop fraud
  • Truck stop specific services and Comdata proprietary network advantages

"In the U.S. and Canada, the PHH MasterCard is ideal for our heavy truck fleets that need customizable solutions," said Rob Stowers, Senior Vice President and General Manager of PHH FirstFleet, the truck and equipment division of PHH Arval.

"Payment cards are an essential tool in managing fleet operations, and we are delighted to partner with PHH Arval to provide the company's fleet clients with best-of-breed card features," said Ron Clarke, FleetCor's CEO. "With this card, PHH Arval clients can optimize their ability to identify fraudulent transactions and minimize costs."
