APRA surpasses 105,000 technical bulletins

Reman organization posts more than 105,000 technical bulletins on www.autobulletins.com.

The Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association (APRA) announced that they now have surpassed 105,000 technical bulletins on www.AutoBulletins.com, a website designed specifically for the professional technician diagnosing vehicle problems. "Using AutoBulletins.com gives the automotive and light duty technician the ability to look-up Original Equipment Service (OEM) bulletins for almost any car or light truck they may encounter in their shop," stated APRA Chief Technical Officer, Mark Kothe.

Accessing AutoBulletins.com online is like having a technical library at your fingertips. By storing all of the data "in house," APRA has been able to provide much faster access for subscribers to this online service. The OEM technical bulletins are updated monthly, with an additional 400-500 new bulletins being added each month. Currently the website is home to 105,774 distinct technical service bulletins with coverage through the 2010 model year.

This newly released version of AutoBulletins.com offers a streamlined software design which allows access to the bulletins by simply selecting year, make, model and system – easy dropdown boxes and no "submit" button to click.

Kothe added, "AutoBulletins.com has always been a great product. In today's fast paced world, having a major speed improvement was one of our top priorities. With new data being delivered to make it even better, we lowered the price to $100 per year. This equates to less than 1/10 of a cent per technical bulletin. This sounds like a great deal to me."

APRA is offering a free, full system test drive for 30-days for all APRA members. Purchase price is $100 per year, or $10 per month. APRA President, Bill Gager, concluded, "After your 30-day free trial you'll quickly realize that this is a service you can't live without."
