Rush Truck Centers holds grand opening for two new dealerships in Denver, C.O.
On June 26, Rush Enterprises celebrated a grand opening for its new Rush Truck Center, and, across the street, its new Rush Medium Duty Ford Truck Center.
The dealerships “expands our important partnerships” with Peterbilt, Ford and Isuzu, and is “a significant investment and commitment to keep customers in area up and running,” said W.M. “Rusty” Rush, chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer, Rush Enterprises, in his remarks at the event.
Rush Enterprises owns and operates the largest network of commercial vehicle dealerships in the United States, and is the largest Peterbilt dealer in U.S. It has 54 Peterbilt locations in 11 states and offers Isuzu trucks at 22 Rush Truck Center locations nationwide.
The truck and bus manufacturers Rush Enterprises represents includes Peterbilt, International, Hino, Isuzu, Kalmar, Ford, Mitsubishi Fuso, Blue Bird, Elkhart, Collins and IC Bus.
Rush Enterprises’ 108 dealerships are strategically located in high traffic areas on or near major highways in 21 states throughout the U.S. These one-stop centers offer an integrated approach to meeting customer needs – from sales of new and used vehicles and equipment to aftermarket parts, service and body shop operations, plus a wide array of financial services, including financing, insurance, leasing and rental.
The company also provides vehicle up-fitting, custom modifications, chrome accessories and tires.
The New Dealerships
Rush Truck Center has been operating in Denver since February 1997. The new facility is more than 83,000 sq ft on 13.5 acres. It has 69 bays, including dedicated CNG and LNG bays; a fleet of 10 24/7 RushCare Mobile Service; and provides full service on all Peterbilt, Ford and Isuzu vehicles.
Rush Truck Centers has been working with Ford since 2006, and now has seven dealerships. Its new Rush Medium Duty Ford Truck Center has a more than 12,500-sq ft facility on four acres of land.
The facility is also the first Ford Trustmark truck dealership in the U.S. The Trustmark Program involves a commitment to implementation of consistent, customer-focused standards for the architectural and design features of Ford dealerships.
People
In his remarks at the grand opening, Rush pointed out that company’s success is built on relationships with not just its customers, but with its people. More than 6,300 people are employed by Rush Truck Centers.
On hand at the event, in addition to a number of chief Rush Truck Center officials, were key representatives from Cummins, Ford, Isuzu and Peterbilt.
A special guest was Tony Stewart, NASCAR legend, and co-owner of the Stewart-Haas Racing team. Rush Truck Centers is the official truck dealer and service center of Clint Bowyer and Stewart-Haas Racing.
