The fleet service company grants the ‘Shop of the Year’ award to locations that keep to high standards in maintenance, customer service, safety, and teamwork.
Aim Transportation Solutions named its Gainesville, GA, location as the 2024 Aim Shop of the Year. The company presents the award annually to shops that exemplify excellence in maintenance, customer service, safety, and team collaboration, the company said.
“Our Gainesville location was our top goal performer this year,” said Chris Disantis, EVP of Maintenance. “This is truly a team atmosphere; the dedication and teamwork displayed by every member of the team has been incredible.”
Aim services over 11,000 commercial vehicles across the country, with the Gainesville shop as part of Aims’ overall maintenance strategy. The Gainesville shop offers services from full service leasing to truck and trailer maintenance and used equipment sales. The location's current service manager, Justin Torgerson, first started as a diesel mechanic apprentice in 2008. He was then promoted to working foreman in 2021 and service manager in 2023.
“Leading this team now is a real honor,” Torgerson said. “The hard work and dedication of everyone at the shop is what’s behind this recognition, and it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come together.”
