Elgin Industries has developed a mobile-optimized electronic catalog, the Elgin eCatalog, for gasoline and diesel engine components. Available at www.catalog.elginind.com and www.elginind.com, the catalog features more than 25,000 SKUs for imported and domestic vehicle models as well as Elgin’s PRO-STOCK engine and chassis components.
“We set out to establish a new benchmark for catalog usability to ensure our customers – whether they’re at a parts business, in a machine shop, a repair bay or at home – can quickly and easily find the parts they need to complete the job,” said Elgin President Bill Skok. “We want to thank the customers whose insight helped shape this new reference tool and the Elgin team members whose hard work made it possible.”

The eCatalog features application lookup features in four main categories. The system can comb through over 17,000 Elgin and Elgin PRO-STOCK engine part/set SKUs for auto, heavy-duty, and performance gas and diesel engines and provide technical information and images with the results. Additionally, it covers more than 8,000 Elgin or Elgin PRO-STOCK chassis/part/set SKUs for the same vehicles, also with technical information and high-resolution images. The system can also filter results by technical specifications, such as stock, performance, rpm range, overlap, exhaust and intake durations, and more; and by part number lookup, which provides complete engine or vehicle application listings, technical specs, and images.
Finally, the catalog includes unique web URLs for each page for easy sharing and bookmarking for future use.
