Eaton Cummins Automated Transmission Technologies has continued its rotating leadership process and chosen its latest general manager, deputy general manager, and chief financial officer. James Taylor will serve as the new general manager, Christy Roadknight will assume the role of deputy general manager, and Genoveva Alba will become the company’s chief financial officer.
“I am confident that James and the new leadership team will continue to deliver powertrain solutions that enhance performance, reliability, and fuel efficiency,” said Waldek Gardzielewski, outgoing general manager. “I am excited for the future under this dynamic leadership team and look forward to continuing our legacy of excellence.”

Taylor previously served in the Cummins Drivetrain and Braking Systems (formerly the Meritor and Cummins-Meritor) business unit, most recently as the executive director of North America Commercial. There, he led the Sales and Service organizations, handled commercial agreements, and led strategic customer relationships.
Roadknight first joined Eaton as a product engineer in 2000, and has since served in various roles in sales, operations, management, and product strategy. Her most recent position was global business unit director for Fuel Emissions and Boosting in Eaton’s Mobility Group.
Finally, Alba started working at Eaton in 2008 as a product engineer, going on to work in sales, operations, management, and product strategy. She will begin as the CFO for the joint venture on December 1, until which she will continue to serve as the regional director for Finance Transformation for Eaton’s Electrical Sector Americas.
