Pilot is celebrating Driver Appreciation Month throughout September with free drinks, deals for drivers at participating locations, and its Road Warrior contest.
“It truly is an honor to work shoulder to shoulder with professional drivers who keep North America moving, day in and day out,” said Jordan Spradling, vice president of transportation and logistics at Pilot. “At Pilot, we are committed to doing our part to support, serve, and show professional drivers they matter, and we look forward to seeing them out here on the road.”

The annual Road Warrior contest began the first week of September, and will end in October with four drivers up for the chance to win $25,000. First, surprise personalities will invite folks to nominate the professional drivers in their lives on Pilot’s Facebook page, as well as giving a shout-out and nomination to one of the ‘road warriors’ in their lives. You can nominate drivers in the comments of these personality shout-outs, and every week during the contest, one of these drivers will be selected to win a $1,000 prize. The winners for the grand prize will be announced in October.
Additionally, all professional drivers will be able to use the myRewards Plus app at certain Pilot, Flying J, and One9 travel centers. This will allow them to access three free drinks each week, including Pilot coffee, fountain drinks, and drinks from the cooler and discounts on certain snacks. Military and Veteran drivers will also receive extra discounts on snacks in addition to the 10% discount they receive on food and beverages.
