MEMA to launch second Heavy Duty Dialogue

The second event from MEMA OE Suppliers will be held at the end of October 2024 and will include insights and presentations from Kenny Vieth of ACT Research and Mike Roeth, executive director of NACFE.

MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers (MEMA OE Suppliers) is hosting its second Heavy Duty Dialogue (HDD) on Oct. 29, 2024. The event aims to examine insights and forecasts for the commercial vehicle market heading into 2025, including market trends, regulatory impacts, and technological advancements.

Some of the more specific topics HDD will delve in to include specific industry challenges, truck build forecasts, fleet and freight demand, and the growth the heavy-duty electrification sector. In particular, Kenny Vieth, president and senior analyst at ACT Research, will present this year’s Commercial Vehicle Market Outlook, while Mike Roeth, executive director of NACFE, is leading an EVs and Freight Efficiency session. Bain & Company will also be hosting a battery-electric and electric vehicle outlook.

Some other key panel discussions include the Fleet & Dealer Landscape Panel, which will be moderated by Rob Allerton, MEMEA OE’s VP of Commercial Vehicle, as well as a fireside chat with Timken’s Ashley Fairall, Phillips Industries’ Dan Forthoffer, and PKC Group’s Rico Mutone.
