June 20, 2024
Kayser, who previously served as vice president of National Fleet Sales and Group Vice President of National Accounts, will take on his new role as of July 1.
Navistar has promoted Dan Kayser to its executive leadership team as executive vice president of Commercial Operations. He will take on this new role on July 1 and will work to execute the company’s strategies to increase customer satisfaction, employee experiences, and financial performance and efficiency.
"[Kayser] has proven himself to be an exceptional leader with strong expertise in commercial vehicles and operational effectiveness,” said Mathias Carlbaum, president and CEO of Navistar. “I look forward to working with him more closely to deliver on Navistar's transformative journey, which is already well underway."
In his new role, Kayser will be responsible for sales and marketing, and he will lead the transformation of the Commercial team and secure value for Internation and IC Bus. Prior to his appointment, Kayser first joined Navistar as a front-line dealer sales representative at independent International dealerships. He then rose into greater sales and dealer management roles, becoming vice president of National Fleet Sales in 2018. He later advanced to Group Vice President of National Accounts in 2020.
