VSP News: Kolman's Korner, Episode 93 - Tire Inflation Pressure

Nov. 23, 2015
Al Cohn, director, new market development and engineering support, for Pressure Systems International, discusses the importance of maintaining proper tire inflation pressure.

When it comes to tires, the number one issue remains maintaining proper tire inflation pressure, explains Al Cohn, director of new market development and engineering support for Pressure Systems International – PSI for short.

The company is a leader in automatic tire inflation systems that markets and sells its products as the Meritor Tire Inflation System by PSI.

While it is important to check tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge – and not a bat or hammer or by kicking a tire –  all gauges must be calibrated.

Cohn says automatic tire inflation systems are gaining in popularity.

The industry is working to take the driver out of the loop by using automatic tire inflation systems.
