The collision school programs were eligible to receive these welders by applying for the Education Foundation’s 2013 Ultimate Collision Education Makeover school grant.

The schools that received the donated Pro Spot welders include:
Herndon Career Center (Raytown, MO)
Maxwell High School of Technology (Lawrenceville, GA)
West Side Career and Technology Center (Kingston, PA)
Assabet Valley Tech High (Marlboro, MA)
South Central Technical College-Mankato (North Mankato, MN)
Washtenaw Community College (Ann Arbor, MI)
Linn State Technical College (Linn, MO)
Ranken Technical College (St. Louis, MO)

Ron Olsson, President of Pro Spot International, noted, "We are thankful for what the Collision Repair Education Foundation does to help recruit kids into the collision repair industry. There is a shortage of qualified collision repair technicians and we are proud to be a part of something that benefits all parties by educating students on updated equipment that they will ultimately be using in the field."

Collision Repair Education Foundation Director of Development Brandon Eckenrode noted, "We cannot thank Pro Spot International enough for this incredible welder donation to collision school programs across the country. Collision instructors are facing reduced and limited budgets every year and in order to produce the well-trained and entry-level graduates the industry demands, they need the industry’s help. Pro Spot’s generosity will help current and future collision students within these collision school programs."
