Enviro-Cool offers spin-on cooling system filter

March 5, 2019
Cooling system filter designed to automatically clean while the vehicle is in operation.

To help fleets more effectively clean the cooling system, Enviro-Cool developed a filter that is designed to “Clean while you drive.” The Cleaner Filter is a spin-on filter formulated with alkaline cleaning technology in a timing released medium. This filter replaces the current inhibitor filter on the truck and provides a homogenous non-acidic cleaning mixture to the cooling system while the truck is being driven.

The Cleaner Filter stays on for four to six weeks, or 10,000 miles, and then is simply replaced by another inhibitor filter and run for another year, or 150,000 miles. This process is intended to make it easier for fleets to maintain the cooling system. With this filter, fleets only need to maintain their current coolant maintenance intervals and occasionally top off with the same type of coolant that is already in the system.
