Fontaine Trailer, the recognized technology leader in the platform trailer Industry, reports up to three percent fuel savings for fleets running Revolution flatbed and dropdeck trailers.

"You would think that the fuel economy improvements would stem primarily from the fact that Revolution trailers are the lightest in their class," explained Alan Briley, VP Sales and Marketing. "But we have learned that most of the savings come from the patented design of the trailer itself. The design and construction of the unitized floor virtually eliminates racking and twisting, so tire scrub typically seen in spread-axle applications is all but eliminated. This dramatically reduces road friction which means it requires less energy to pull Revolution trailers every mile you run, whether you are fully loaded or empty. The lightweight revolutionary design lets you haul bigger payloads and use less fuel...that's a combination our competitors simply can't match," Briley concluded.

The Fontaine Revolution family includes all-aluminum flatbed models and combination flatbed and and dropdeck models under the Revolution Hybrid brand. All are the lightest, strongest trailers in their class with the highest weight/strength ratio in the industry.
