Inverness Graham-backed GPS Trackit acquires Zonar Systems

Under the merger, Zonar will now operate as part of TPS Trackit’s portfolio, but continue to focus their fleet health and safety solutions toward the government and education sectors.

Zonar Systems is merging with GPS Trackit, a portfolio company of Inverness Graham and a provider of fleet management, asset tracking, and telematics solutions.

As part of the merger, Zonar will operate as part of the GPS Trackit portfolio, and together, the two companies will form a platform that serves fleets of all sizes. Zonar provides in-cab tablets, telematics solutions, fleet health solutions, electronic vehicle inspection reporting systems, and driver dash cams. Most recently, the Zonar Emissions Check system was certified by the California Air Resource’s Board for its Clean Truck Check program.

GPS Trackit also provides fleet management tools as well as video telematics, asset tracking, field service, and electronic logging device solutions for industries including construction, trucking and transportation, and government fleets.
