Trillium CNG announced the rollout of its new 7” Hydraulic Intensifier Compressor (HY-C), designed to reduce CNG vehicle re-fueling time in half.

The 7” HY-C is designed to accommodate heavy duty fleets that require high volume compressed natural gas (CNG) re-fueling times for multiple vehicles across multiple fueling lanes.

The new product is the next generation in fast-fill technology developed by Trillium CNG to enable fast-filling multiple vehicles simultaneously.

Trillium CNG’s 5” HY-C is being used in many of its existing heavy duty public access CNG stations to achieve fueling rates of 10 gasoline gallon equivalents (GGE’s) per minute.

"We’re excited about of our new 7” HY-C because it not only preserves valuable driver time, which is important to fleet operators, but it redefines CNG refueling industry standards which were originally established with our 5” HY-C, “said Ted Calvin, vice president of manufacturing and supply chain.
