VIDEO: How to replace a TPMS sensor, featuring the REDI-Sensor

This video gives step-by-step instructions on wow to replace a TPMS sensor with the REDI-sensor on a 2018 Ford F-Series truck.

The REDI-Sensor, No. SE10003A, is a compatible TPMS sensor to the ATEQ TPMS Tools line.

Applications for the new the part number include 2018 Ford, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan, Subaru, Toyota and Volvo models.

How to replace a TPMS sensor with the REDI-sensor, a multi-protocol sensor, pre-loaded with protocols, on a 2018 Ford F-Series:

  • First, unlock the sensor to activate the Ford protocol.
  • From the main menu, go to PROGRAM, select SENSOR, then navigate to VDO Redi-Sensor.
  • Press the green button to unlock the TPMS sensor. You will see the new TPMS ID protocol.
  • After the REDI-sensor has been installed to the wheel, go to the SERVICE menu to perform a Manual or OBD relearn.
  • Follow the relearn steps to write the TPMS sensor ID’s the vehicle’s ECU, and turn the TPMS light off.
