Building off the momentum gained from its successful year, including recently announced plans to construct a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Clarksville, Tennessee, Hankook Tire America Corp. sprints into the 2013 SEMA Show in Las Vegas from Nov. 5 to 8.
Hankook Tire, one of the fastest growing tire companies in the world, will be showcasing four new products (two Passenger Car and two Light Truck patterns), highlighting the innovative Hankook iFlex concept tire, and previewing 2014 motorsports plans including a Hankook Formula Drift driver meet-and-greet and autograph signing session on the first day of the show among other activities to educate and engage attendees. Hankook will also be holding an official press conference at its booth (#43101) on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at 3 PM.
Hankook’s newest tires, which will be announced at the company’s press conference, include an Ultra-High Performance Summer tire for passenger cars, a High Performance All-Season tire for passenger cars, a Premium Summer Ultra-High Performance tire for SUVs and crossover vehicles, and a High Performance All-Season tire for SUVs, crossover vehicles and light trucks, and will be on display in the company’s booth for the entirety of the show. Additionally, the company will be showcasing in its booth the recently unveiled Hankook iFlex tire concept. The Hankook iFlex is made from up to 95 percent recyclable materials, consumes less energy during use leading to lower rolling resistance and improved vehicle fuel economy, and does not require air like a conventional tire.
Hankook Tire will also be hosting the winner of its recently completed ‘Vegas Like a Champion’ Facebook sweepstakes, part of its larger effort to connect with customers on social media. The campaign gave entrants the opportunity to ‘like’ the Hankook Facebook page to enter and also upload entrant generated Hankook-branded images. The winner will be attending the show as Hankook’s guest and will have an all-access pass for a behind-the-scene look at Hankook’s planned activities.
