Aperia Technologies, supplier of tire management solutions for commercial vehicle tractors and trailers, announced that it will be expanding its tire analytics platform, Halo Connect, in November 2019. The announcement came from Judith Monte, vice president of marketing, during a press conference at the North American Commercial Vehicle (NACV) Show in Atlanta.
Aperia Technologies launched Halo Connect earlier this year in limited quantities. The platform will now offer enhanced features such as precise vehicle location and service insights, in addition to tire tread depth and replacement tracking.
Since its initial development, the company has been making modifications with the feedback from the users who have been using the product daily.
“We think this is going to be a pretty exciting tool for those that use it this coming next month,” said Monte.
Halo Connect alerts drivers of tire pressure change, helps mitigate blowouts, and reduces downtime. It is a proprietary connectivity platform for Halo Tire Inflator, a device that bolts onto the hub of commercial vehicle tires and automatically pumps and maintains optimal tire inflation pressure.
