The art and editorial staff at Fleet Maintenance have been recognized yet again by the publishing industry for superior work, earning two finalist nods from the judges for the 2022 Folio: Eddie and Ozzie Awards. The Eddies are reserved for editorial content, while the Ozzies are for art and design. Fleet Maintenance has a chance to win one of each.
The editorial feature, "The dawn of hydrogen trucks," was selected as one of the top single pieces of B2B technology journalism, and comes courtesy of Associate Editor Tyler Fussner, who wrote an in-depth feature on hydrogen-powered trucks, while Senior Art Director Erin Brown is in line to win for overall art direction. Brown was named 2019 Designer of the Year and has several other Ozzie wins to her name.
Fleet Maintenance is part of Endeavor Business Media's Commercial Vehicle Group (CVG), and fellow brand FleetOwner earned nominations for its annual Trucking by the Numbers coverage, while Bulk Transporter was recognized for B2B investigative journalism for its article "Full stop: Intellistop’s pulsating rear lamp module caught in bureaucratic limbo."
Endeavor Business Media as a whole has 25 total finalists across 10 brands.
"It's great to see the impressive work done every day by our market-leading editors and supremely talented art directors being recognized by the industry," said Kevin Jones, CVG's editorial director. "It says a lot about the dedicated, gifted folks we have here, but it's really not about our team, it's about our readers, who are leaders in the commercial vehicle industry. We work hard to keep them ahead of the curve on industry trends, best practices, and technologies. It all about making their lives a little bit easier."
