Aaron Lowe, vice president of government affairs for the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association, explains that the recent Right to Repair Memorandum of Understanding, or M.O.U., between the automakers and the aftermarket will make it easier for independent repair shops to have the same access to the information, tools and software as auto dealers. Interviewed by Erica Schulz, managing editor of PTEN magazine, Lowe explains why the agreement will help the aftermarket.
