VSP News: Industry Insights, Episode 13 - The gap in service information
Aug. 15, 2013
NASTF's Skip Potter talks about the information, education and tool gap in service information among automotive technicians.
The gap in service information for independent repair shops challenges the automotive aftermarket. The issue and what's being done about it will be addressed at the fall meeting of the National Automotive Service Task Force. Skip Potter, executive director, explains what NASTF is doing and what technicians can during in an interview with Elliot Maras, editor of Professional Tool & Equipment News.
NASTF is working to address the service informationed gap. One takeaway from today's conversation is that NASTF is an interactive effort to address this problem. Every individual technician can be part of the solution working with the NASTF forum. I encourage everyone who plans to be in Las Vegas for SEMA and AAPEX to attend the NASTF meeting Nov. 6.
