TIA offers hands-on training for earthmover tire service

The in-person Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service training class is scheduled to take place December 13-16 in Brooksville, Florida.

The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is offering an in-person Advanced Hands-On Earthmover Tire Service (ETS) training class December 13-16 in Brooksville, Florida. This will be the last class of 2022 offered by TIA.

Targeted at earthmover tire technicians, the class offers comprehensive hands-on training using a service truck, hydraulic tools, and a variety of equipment that can aid technicians in servicing tires.

Topics covered include:

  • Service Truck Operation
  • Preventative Maintenance Training (service truck, crane, compressor, etc.)
  • Site Preparation and Equipment
  • Hydraulic Tool Operation & Maintenance
  • Service One-, Three-, and Five-Piece (on machine and loose)
  • Wheel & Rim Fastening Systems
  • Wheel Inspection

Class sessions will run from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays through Thursdays and 8 a.m. through noon on Fridays. Students successfully completing a final exam will receive a Certificate of Completion.
