The Automotive Maintenance and Repair Association (AMRA) announced their 2019 Spring Technical Conference will be held on May 8 and 9 in Chicago, Illinois. Registration is currently open for members, which can be accessed through the Upcoming Events section on their www.AMRA.org website. The Technical Conferences are a part of the association’s Motorist Assurance Program (MAP) and are held three times a year. This year’s spring meeting has a variety of topics that affect the automotive aftermarket and those who service the motorist. Some of the topics include diagnostic scan tools, proper lifting procedure and lift maintenance, eco diesel service opportunities, diagnosing and servicing ADAS systems and more. Industry experts will be giving presentation for each of the topics to inform the committee and the audience of any recent changes.

“The Technical Conferences are a critical element of the organization and this spring’s lineup will once again draw record attendance. With focused effort, we continue to challenge ourselves to ensure we have topics that interest anyone in the Automotive Industry, and we are seeing positive results. In addition to the technical experts we are attracting many others whether you are in marketing, sales or operations you will see tremendous value in the meeting.” Said Jeff Cox, president, AMRA.

Along with the technical presentations, the event includes an engaging networking reception and dinner, bringing industry professionals from both service providers and non-service providers together to foster relationships and serve as a pipeline for collaboration.
