Midtronics promotes Will Sampson to Executive Vice President of Transportation Division

The new role adds Transportation Division sales and engineering organizations to the marketing and product development functions previously under Sampson’s management.

Midtronics, Inc. President and CEO Steve McShane announced the promotion of Will Sampson to Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Transportation Division, effective immediately.

The new role adds Transportation Division sales and engineering organizations to the marketing and product development functions previously under Sampson’s management.

Sampson most recently served as Vice President, Business Leader, Transportation Division, leading the division’s marketing and product development efforts in addition to responsibility for the company’s European subsidiary, Midtronics b.v.

Since joining the company in 1994 Sampson has filled several roles in sales, product management and marketing, exhibiting a talent for developing, communicating and executing strategies to lead the Transportation Division to significant profitable growth.

“In his new role, Will is assuming full responsibility for the profitability and growth of the Division, which makes up the largest part of our global business,” said McShane. “With his leadership and strategic vision, I am confident he will continue to drive our innovative approach to customer challenges and raise expectations for the entire organization.”
