Bendix highlights in-person, virtual training sessions for August

The company's three-day Air Brake Training courses will be available throughout August, including one virtual session.

Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems is offering four Air Brake Training technical training sessions throughout the month of August. The in-person sessions will take place in Nevada, Ohio, and Washington, while the virtual session will be available from anywhere.

Here are the upcoming classes for August:

  • Aug. 6-8: Tacoma, Washington – Washington Bates Technical College, South Campus, 2201 S 78th St, Tacoma, WA  98409
  • Aug. 20-22: Virtual Class – Online only
  • Aug. 27-29: Avon, Ohio – Bendix CVS Headquarters, 35500 Chester Road
  • Aug. 27-29: Sparks, Nevada – Bendix CVS Distribution Center, 1095 Spice Island Drive, Suite 101 Sparks, NV 89431

Each three-day course will feature the description, operation, and service elements for components in dual air brake systems. It will also discuss the fundamentals of compressed air, tactics for air system failure mode diagnosis and troubleshooting, and air brake system and foundation brake components, including air compressors, valves, foundation drum brakes, air disc brakes, and steering elements.

Participants can take a written test at the end of the class, and upon passing, they’ll receive a tested and passed certificate. If a participant does not pass or chooses not to take the test they will still receive a certificate of completion for the course.

Class sizes are limited for the in-person trainings, with enrollment based on a first-come, first-served basis. Each class per attendee costs $475 for the Air Brake Training. Participants can register for the training course here.
