Led by Amerit professionals with experience in refrigeration technology, the program curriculum places a strong emphasis on EPA regulations 608 and 609, enabling technicians to navigate these requirements with confidence. This course is for technicians who are pursuing either an EPA 608 or 609 certification or who otherwise plan to work as a technician on refrigeration units.
For the best results from the Reefer Tech Academy, technicians should have at least one year’s experience. This academy will help such techs become well-versed in environmental compliance, including handling refrigerants, leak detection, and proper disposal procedures.
“The Reefer Academy will serve as a platform for our current technicians to test and update their skills and knowledge,” said Amein Punjani, COO for Amerit, in a press release. “Through this initiative, we aim to raise the industry standards and further solidify our position as a leader in fleet maintenance.”
