The true cost of employing fleet technicians

This chart, from TransTechs, the nation’s only staffing company specializing exclusively in providing highly skilled technicians to support private and public bus and fleet operators (www.transtechs.com), shows the cost to employ a fleet technician once they are hired.

As can be seen, a technician’s hourly wage is only 65 percent of the story. At an average hourly wage* of $19.97, a technician actually costs $30.72 per hour to employ.
