Mack adds 12 EV-certified dealer locations

Dec. 10, 2024
Certified Mack Trucks dealers have high-capacity charging infrastructure and train their technicians to work on Mack’s electric vehicle lineup. They also often provide other EV-related support.

Mack Trucks has added 12 new Certified Electric Vehicle (EV) dealer locations to their service network, wtih eight in the U.S. and four in Canada. This increases the number of dealers that can provide EV sales and service support to 65 total. Mack's current electric portfolio includes the Mack LR Electric Class 8 refuse truck and Mack MD Electric (available in Class 6 & 7 models). Operating the MD6 version (GVWR 25,995 lb.) does not require a Commercial Driver's License when hauling non-hazardous materials.

"The continued expansion of our certified EV dealership network demonstrates our commitment, and our dealers’ commitment, to a sustainable future," said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. "Together with our Mack dealers, we help make this possible by offering customers support from the purchase of the vehicle, seeking of incentives, infrastructure readiness, and training to help them better acclimate to the new technology and to further the adoption of EV vehicles."
