    The 8-1/2" PreciForce Crimping Pliers, No. 97 52 42, from KNIPEX Tools, are for solar cable connectors MC4/MC4 EVO 2 (multi-contact). The pliers produce repetitive, high crimping quality thanks to precision dies and an integral lock with a self-releasing mechanism. The crimping pressure has been calibrated in the factory, and the tool has a capacity of 12 and 10 AWG. The pliers produce an optimum transmission of force due to their toggle lever, reducing user fatigue. They are made of oil-hardened chrome vanadium electric steel.
