The OTC Timing Chain Holding Tool, No. 6746, retains the timing chain position relative to the crankshaft position. The tool clamps around the timing chain pins on both the intake and exhaust sides of the cylinder head, allowing the cams to be serviced. The tool is similar to EN-50656, the company says, and is designed for 2013-2014 Cadillac ATS, 2014 Cadillac CTS, 2013-2014 Chevrolet Malibu, 2014 Chevrolet Impala and Buick Regal 2.0L and 2.5L engines.
