The line of Universal External Thread Repair Tools from Anglo American Tools restore inch or metric and right-hand or left-hand fastener threads. Floating cutters are self-adjusting to any pitch and size within range, and there is no need for calibration or thread type identification. The tools automatically chase good thread sections to repair the damaged parts. The NES06040 has an outer capacity from 5/32" to 1/2" and a pipe capacity of up to 1/4". The NES1A offers an outer capacity of 5/32" to 11/16" and a pipe capacity of up to 1-1/8". The NES2 offers a range of 11/16" to 1-1/2" for the outer capacity and 3/8" to 1-1/8" pipe capacity. The NES3 has a 1-3/8" to 6" outer capacity and a pipe capacity of 1" to 5-1/2".
