The Makita 18V LXT Brushless 3-Speed Impact Wrench, No. XWT02M, combines the extended run time of a brushless motor with the 18V LXT Li-ion 4.0 Ah battery, and three speed settings (low, medium and high). The max torque ratings of this impact range from 59 ft/lbs to 210 ft/lbs, depending which setting is used.The XWT02M's brushless motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use. Electronic controls use battery energy to match torque and rpm to the changing demands of the application for increased power and speed, when needed.
