A new wheel and rim blaster from Viking Blast ' Wash Systems, No. WH48, removes paint and rust from wheels and rims that range from 12" to 26" diameters. The machine uses two 15-hp VC-1 center-fed blast wheels for complete 360-degree wheel coverage, and can blast approximately 110 painted truck rims or 130 automotive rims per 8-hour shift. The blaster also eliminates operator lifting due to a pneumatic lifting system.
