Honda and Acura approve Pro-Cut lathe

On-the-car lathe to be used to combat brake pulsation complaints.

After many months of testing, the Pro-Cut lathe was approved for warranty and customer pay brake service in all Honda and Acura shops in the U.S. The testing period included the design of three custom, nickel-plated adapters made to Honda/Acura’s refinishing requirements.

These adapters each have a center bore that nests perfectly over the Honda/Acura hub, insuring a perfectly centered adapter. The three-piece adapter package is required for servicing.

"We are very pleased to be approved at Honda for warranty work. Although we have been in the majority of their shops for a long time, it is only until recently that Pro-Cut has been approved for warranty work. We are very excited for this opportunity," said Bruce Prince, vice president of sales.
