Stertil-Koni introduces latest full rise telescopic piston lift

June 30, 2016
Stertil-Koni introduces a new model of the company’s widely deployed, full rise, in-ground telescopic piston lift, the Diamond Lift, now with even greater lifting capacity.

As trucks and buses across North America grow ever larger and heavier, vehicle lift leader Stertil-Koni USA, Inc. has once again risen to the challenge with the introduction of a new model of the company’s widely deployed, full rise, in-ground telescopic piston lift, the Diamond Lift, now with even greater lifting capacity.

Called the “Diamond 70,” the new lift is available in either a two- or three-piston configuration with a total lifting capacity of 35,000 lbs per piston, hence 70,000 lbs with two pistons and 105,000 lbs with three pistons, respectively. The new lift complements the Diamond Lift series, which includes the Diamond 64 (available in a two- and three-piston configuration with a lifting capacity of 32,000 lbs per piston -- thus 64,000 lbs (two pistons) and 96,000 lbs (three pistons) respectively.

Rolling off the production line at Stertil-Koni’s recently expanded manufacturing facility in Streator, Ill., Diamond Lift 70 features an advanced design in which the telescopic pistons protect all the critical seals from potential damage by debris. Further, the Diamond Lift piston rods are hard-chrome plated for maximum protection against corrosion and wear, and thus optimized to handle the harsh environments of today’s busy workshops. Further, the lift is certified to ANSI/ALI ALCTV current edition.

As part of the new model introduction, Stertil-Koni is making the Diamond 70 available in both a “cassette” and “frame” version. In the cassette model, the upper portion of the steel containment is hot-dip galvanized, which provides corrosion resistance at floor level and ensures proper interlock with the foundation. In addition, the containments are coated internally and externally with DiamondGuard, which not only safeguards against corrosion and electrolysis, it also prohibits shop fluids from entering the environment.
