Q: How can a vehicle lift increase shop productivity?

Steve Perlstein, sales manager, Mohawk Lifts: In focusing on the most common type of lift found in the shops of PTEN readers, two post lifts, there are accessories available to increase shop productivity. For example, a Speedlane gives the ability to switch from a swing arm lift to a drive on lift within minutes and eliminates the need to position the swing arms, thus saving time. Simply drive on, raise the lift and begin working. The Speedlane leaves the tires hanging free for wheel, brake and exhaust service but can removed quickly if necessary.
