Shop: B&H Truck Service, LLC
Location: McAlester, Okla.
Paul Morgano is the part-owner of B&H Truck Service in McAlester, Okla., a shop that services heavy duty diesel trucks and buses. Morgano has worked at B&H Truck Service since 1987, where he met his wife Anet. In 2001, Paul and Anet purchased the shop from Anet’s mother. B&H Truck Service was started in 1980, by Anet’s parent Bert and Hazel Hollis.
Morgano is extremely proud of his 17’ long Snap-on Epic Series toolbox. His box, nicknamed “Mr. Big,” is over 6’ tall, 17’ long and weighs 5,700 lbs when empty. Morgano says, “Loaded up with tools, it takes four people to move it.”
Morgano waited four months to receive the box because, according to his Snap-on distributor, it was the largest box ever built. It was so large that it had to be delivered by a moving company.
The box has two lockers, one on each end, two upper boxes and one large bottom box. It also features a custom paint job to match his Silver Chevrolet Camaro, which he bought new in 2010. “I paid extra for the color and am really proud of it,” he said.
He estimates that Mr. Big, in addition to his ‘smaller’ box (a Snap-on KDL box that is 13’ long, which is “a step down from this box”) carry a total of almost $400,000 worth of tools. These boxes hold tools that include everything from 1/4” to 1” chrome sockets and impact sockets, impacts guns and 1/4" to 3" wrenches. Morgano also has one draw just for the screw drivers and specialty tools.
