Technician Mike Truman likes the challenges of everyday work that spans from oil changes to full-blown major repairs at Dirks Automotive and Transmission in Oroville, Calif. And his Matco Tools distributor, Perry Walters, liked the challenge of meeting his storage needs for all his tools. Truman has been a tech for more than 20 years, and at last has room enough for the specialty tools and everything else he needs.
Including a refrigerator and microwave at his station.
Walters helped Truman into a 4s Series three-bay rollaway Matco toolbox with hutch and two side lockers. At roughly 9' long and 5-1/2' high, Truman has about 36,000ci of space for tool and equipment storage.
Actually, he has room for almost everything. He's talking with Walters about possibly adding a horizontal locker to the setup.
