VSP News: Kolman's Korner, Episode 108 - Repair Information

June 16, 2016
Scott DeGiorgio, general manager, repair products, Mitchell 1, talks about the increasing complexity involved in repairing today’s high-tech commercial trucks.

As trucks become more high-tech, so, too, has the repair process, says Scott DeGiorgio, general manager, repair products, for Mitchell 1. It is a leader in providing information solutions that simplify everyday tasks for automotive professionals.

To help make the vehicle repair process less complicated, the company recently came out with its TruckSeries Product.

One of the things that makes diagnosing a problem with a truck so challenging is that often, the trouble code is not the real issue.

The application delivers quick access to vehicle data so repairs can be made accurately and efficiently.

DeGiorgio says TruckSeries is the only comprehensive repair information software suite of its kind, available for Class 4 through 8 trucks.
