Tru-Point from John Bean uses highly accurate advanced camera technology, targets, and software to quickly uncover any alignment problems the vehicle might have so technicians can perform ideal ADAS calibrations. With a simple streamlined process and real-time visual target placement indication, the system eliminates the need for manual measurements or guide references. By creating a 3D model of the vehicle and its surroundings, Tru-Point can check if the vehicle meets the required OEM alignment specifications and also automatically compensates for the levelness of the workshop floor. The system is designed to help increase shop’s productivity while eliminating uncertainty, the company says.
